Have you ever just been super pissed off after seeing an advertisement that is way too over the top and is exagerated to the max. Fast food adverts are by far the worst, they'll show a mouth watering milkshake with fluffy whip cream, and a perfectly red cherry. Meanwhile you will show up to the resturatant and get a watery milkshake that is more water than ice cream and it tastes disgusting. What do I call that? A huge disapointment.
I just don't get why companies do such a thing. A costumer will eventually see how flase the advert is and not purchase the item again, therefore their sales SHOULD decrease...but does it?
I guess the places like McDonalds false advertisements aren't a big deal since people only get what you pay for...quality wise. Thus, buying a milkshake for 6.99$ at an old fashioned diner you expect and will get the best milkshake they can make. Although if you go to McDonalds and buy a .99 cent milkshake and it tastes like water, you really can't complain.
It's just rather crappy how the adverts these days are misleading, although getting what you pay for is fair in my opinion.
